Hello, my name is Brigette. In May 2025, I started drawing fish, and well, here we are now. That’s the short version.

I’ve long been creatively-minded and, shall we say, chaos-driven, so staying on one idea long enough to actually do something with it has always been a significant challenge. Prior to this, I had never really drawn a fish with any serious focus.

So, when I was compelled to draw a largemouth bass using watercolours, pastels and pencils older than me, I was pleasantly surprised when it didn't turn out terrible - at least by my personal standards back then.

Out of all the things I've tried, the avenues I've explored, I would never have guessed that drawing fish would be my career of choice. And yet, here I am, not only willingly, but enthusiastically! Oh, how we change in the sandstorms of time.

I have quit my corporate job in pursuit of creative endeavours. Let's see how it goes!
